A Vietnamese Mary holding a little baby Jesus.
Just a few hours left here in Saigon before heading out. Got trapped in Hue last night because of some rain, which cut into our 90 degree weather time.
Got a few more gifts to grab, then some karaoke to sing, then on a plane.
In all honesty, I’m a bit surprised that they didn’t portray this Mary to look a little more Vietnamese; it isn’t all that uncommon to represent deities/holy people to look more like the people who worship/respect them.
